Dr Henriette has brought the skills and philosophy that she developed at the Sydney Holistic Dental Centre to Katoomba, with the establishment of Integrated Dental Health.
Dr Henriette graduated from Sydney University in 1999. She has practiced at Sydney’s Holistic Dental Centre as well as practices in Windsor, Gosford, Leura and Lithgow. Dr Henriette has also spent time in Tonga and Bali as a volunteer dentist.
Her gentle manner and judicious use of non-traditional methods of pain treatment lead Dr Henriette’s patients to feel safe and confident. She enjoys seeing children, in particular, lose their dread of dental treatment. She is also committed to the use of treatments that mimic, as closely as possible, the body’s own structures.
Dr Henriette and her husband Jack, have three young children Having a practice closer to home enables Dr Henriette to cut down on commuting time and for her to spend more time her family. Dr Henriette also has a 15-year-old son, Chester, who is studying at Blue Mountains Grammar School.
Outside of work, Dr Henriette enjoys anything to do with the snow and extreme environments including cross country skiing and camping in the snow), as well as yoga, meditation and long distance trail running events. She hopes to conquer a few N.Z. peaks in the next few years. She and Jack spend many weekends sailing with the family and are hoping one day to sail to Antarctica.
