Dr Henriette graduated from Sydney University in 1999. She has practised at Sydney’s Holistic Dental Centre, in Windsor, Gosford, Leura and Lithgow, as well as time as a volunteer in Tonga and Bali.
Her gentle manner and judicious use of non-traditional methods of pain treatment lead Dr Henriette’s patients to feel safe and confident. She enjoys seeing children, in particular, lose their dread of dental treatment. She is also committed to the use of treatments that mimic, as closely as possible, the body’s own structures.
Dr Henriette and her husband Jack, have three young children and, with a practice closer to home, Dr Henriette will be able to cut down on commuting time.
Outside of work Dr Henriette enjoys anything to do with the snow and extreme environments (cross country skiing, camping in the snow) yoga, meditation and long distance trail running events. She hopes to conquer a few NZ peaks in the next few years. She and Jack spend many weekends sailing with the family and are hoping one day to sail to Antarctica.
Dr Yvonne Chow is our consulting sedationist. She graduated with honours in 1999 from The University of Sydney and has been practicing in Sydney and the Blue Mountains since. In 2003 Dr Chow attained her Fellowship by examination with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Dr Chow is especially passionate about looking after anxious patients and in 2005 pursued this passion to complete her Graduate Dipoma in Conscious Sedation and Pain Control. Her interests in teh field of dentistry include oral surgery, paediatric dentistry and special care dentistry
On weekends, Yvonne is a Sunday School teacher to a group of 3-4 year old children She loves being able to put her art skills to use in preparing her lessions.
Dr Baret has had an active private practice in Sydney since 1979, and has decided to enjoy a gentler lifestyle in the Blue Mountains, bringing his skills to this area in a more relaxed practice, while following other health industry pursuits to bring even more treatment modalities to Australia.
Dr Baret has developed treatment approaches which have become the standard of care and he has trained with some of the best in orthodontics including Dr Derek Mahoney who is famous for his non-extraction, early intervention approach to orthodontics; Dr Robert Ricketts – the most prolific orthodontic researcher of the last 100 years and Dr John Mew regarding early intervention treatment and its advantages of non-extraction orthopaedic treatment over typical orthodontic treeatment.

Dr Baret is a foundation member of the Australian Society for Occlusal Studies; he founded the Australian Academy of Oraofaial Orthopaedics; is a foundation member of The Australian chapter of the American Equilibration Society; is a member of the International Association for Orthodontics; and is a foundation member of the Australian chapter of the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
Dr. Max Kim (BOH.DSc, G.Dip.Dent) was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Australia where he graduated from dentistry at Griffith University, Gold Coast. He is fluent in English and Korean. Competent in all facets of dentistry, Max is very thorough to ensure patient’s needs are met to expectation. With a friendly and gentle approach, he values patient’s comfort throughout treatment. Prior to joining Integrated Dental Health, Max has worked for public hospitals servicing rural communities and in private practices of Sydney. As a firm believer in continuing professional development, Max has undertaken a two-year residency in orthodontics and orthopaedics. To bring the latest and most suitable treatment for patients, he enjoys attending various seminars.
We are very pleased to announce the addition of Dr Cecilia So, visiting surgical dentist to our practice.
Dr Cecilia So is our surgical dentist, providing expertise in dental implants, surgical extractions and wisdom teeth surgery on a visiting basis. She is experienced in treating patients under IV sedation (sleep dentistry) and maintains a surgical list at Westmead Hospital treating special needs adults needing oral surgery procedures.
Dr So completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University of Sydney in 2003, graduating with honours. With a special interest in surgery, Dr So advanced her training in the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Exeter and Devon hospitals in the United Kingdom, following which she completed her Fellowship in the Royal College of Surgeons (England) in 2006. Dr So also trained for two years in dental implant surgery at University of Sydney, achieving her Graduate Diploma of Oral Implants in 2010 and is now part of the steering committee for the program. She is an examiner for University of Sydney in both Oral Implants and Oral Surgery, and a mentor and visiting lecturer in Oral Implant Diploma.
Her main interest lies in providing her services to several private practices around Sydney and in the Blue Mountains region. Additionally, she is currently employed in the Department of Special Care at Westmead Hospital where she provides mainly surgical care for those patients with special needs including phobic patients. She is also actively involved in mentoring and training other dentists interested in the field and ensures continual professional development.
Dr So joins Integrated Dental Health to provide treatment under local anaesthetic for our patients. She is happy to tackle the most difficult of teeth extractions, implant service and provides surgical dental treatment for our patients who prefer not to have the expense of going to an Oral Surgeon. She has a kind and caring nature and always has her patient’s best interests at heart. She has accreditation for theatre use at St George Private Hospital and Crows Nest Day Surgery, should patients prefer being treated under General Anaesthetic in a hospital.
Caroline is our Oral Health Therapist. She grew up in Sydney and moved to the Blue Mountains a few years ago.
She has completed her degree in the Bachelor of Oral Health in 2014 at the University of Sydney and has worked at a number of places since then including the eastern suburbs, Western Sydney and even travelling rurally to see and treat school children.
Caroline’s interests in Dentistry lies with Paediatrics, Orthodontics and Periodontics.
Caroline is committed in changing the negative views and misconceptions regarding dental appointments by ensuring that each appointment is a happy, stress-free and pain-free one. Your experience and comfort is her number one priority.
She does her absolute best to not only make your teeth shine bright but to also help you understand your oral state, any conditions that are present, it’s implication and what you can do to help prevent and manage these conditions.
Caroline develops a strong bond with all her patients and work with them as a team to help them achieve optimal oral health. She finds it incredibly rewarding to see patients come back with healthy gums and teeth that have responded well to treatment and hear that patients have been very motivated with their home care. It is an honour for her to accompany her patients in their journey of betterment, learning and maintenance.
Outside of Dentistry, Caroline likes to read to keep up with the latest in the world, spend time with loved ones and going on food adventures to try out new cuisines and food inventions.
