BDS (James Cook University)
Dr Aysha Oniya graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from James Cook University, Queensland. She has a strong interest in helping to educate and empower patients and in preventive dentistry.
She is focussed on building open communication and on a gentle, caring approach. Her experience ranges from working in far north Queensland, including in a public health clinic managing patients with complex medical histories, and in Darwin and the remote Northern Territory.
Her time working in remote areas taught her how factors such as the environment, accessibility and changes in individuals’ circumstances can impact on dental health. In both Queensland and the Northern Territory, she “learned to manage patients from a wide variety of backgrounds and … to prioritise their needs and comfort”.
Dr Aysha has experience in all general treatments, including restorative work, extractions and preventive treatments, and a passion for the latest technology, including digital dentistry.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking to scenic places in the Blue Mountains, the Marvel Movie franchise and most foods – savoury, not sweet!
Dr Aysha is also bilingual, speaking Malayalam as well as English.

I’m Dr Lovedeesh, fondly known as “Dr Love” to patients. I’m a local Indian-Australian who enjoys the outdoors, food and culture.
I graduated with a Bachelor in Dental Science and Masters in Dentistry from La Trobe University, Victoria in 2021 and have been practising in the Bowral and Penrith regions since. My passion for dentistry began at 13 when I began my orthodontic treatment, and the outcomes increased my confidence. As a result, I have a particular interest in Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dentistry for me is all about a gateway to holistic health, long-lasting patient relationships and instilling confidence in all with teeth of different shapes and colours.
I’ve grown up with the Blue Mountains being an essential part of my life and I’m grateful to have the opportunity to serve this wonderful community. Outside of work, sport is an integral part of my life. I have been a competitive sportswoman and representative of Athletics Australia in Discus and Hammer Throw. I enjoy tackling hiking trails, nurturing my plants, exploring charming brunch spots and reading biographies.
I look forward to running into you roaming the Blue Mountains or at the clinic for your next routine checkup
